Smart Device App
Customer & Project
The Staatliche Toto-Lotto GmbH Baden-Württemberg (short form: LOTTO BW) is the state lottery company in Baden-Württemberg. The Smart Device App is used to prepare lottery tickets at a self-service terminal in LOTTO acceptance points in Baden-Württemberg.
Requirements for the LOTTO BW Smart Device App
The app is used to prepare tickets at a self-service terminal at the LOTTO acceptance point. The ticket is intuitively and easily prepared at the terminal and placed in a shopping cart. This shopping cart can be printed and the customer receives a barcode for each ticket. The user uses these barcodes to go to the checkout and pay. Here the user also receives his game receipt for picking up the winnings. The app makes a contribution to the digitization and substitution of paper by an electronic medium.
The intuitive operation is intended to support the lottery player when filling out the lottery ticket in order to avoid errors and save time by saving number combinations.
As of 02.2022, there are around 300 terminals with the solution in use. In the final stage, more than 3,000 terminals will be installed in the LOTTO retail outlets in Baden-Württemberg.

Opinion on the project
We have implemented our second app for preparing tickets again with our long-term partner mobivention. With their competence, they have brought in many creative solutions, especially for short-term problems, and thus again delivered an excellent app.
