Brandenburg Lotto (short form: LOTTO BB) is the state lottery company in Brandenburg. The DLS 2.0 app is used to prepare lottery tickets at a self-service terminal in the LOTTO acceptance points in Brandenburg. Accordingly, paper tickets are completely dispensed with in the DLS lottery stores.

Requirements for LOTTO BB DLS 2.0

The DLS 2.0 app is used to prepare tickets at a self-service terminal in the lottery shop. The ticket is then prepared intuitively and easily at the terminal and placed in a shopping cart. The tickets are then printed out and played at the cash terminal. The app therefore contributes to the digitalization and substitution of paper with an electronic medium.

The intuitive operation is designed to help lottery players fill in their lottery ticket, avoid mistakes and save time by saving number combinations.

As of 02.2024, the first 50 terminals with the solution are in use. More lottery shops will gradually be equipped with the new digital solution.

Implementation by mobivention

The successful realization of the project began with the detailed design of the app for 15″ Android tablets.
Not only were technical aspects taken into account, but special attention was also paid to the user experience (UX) and the user interface (UI).
A central component of the project was the development and support of a content management system (CMS). This was used to efficiently manage promotions and quick tips within the app.
The connection to the LOTTO Brandenburg interfaces was also an important aspect. Accordingly, the seamless integration allowed relevant data and information to be incorporated directly.
