Highlights
The project was won by mobivention through participation in a public tender. The contract was awarded in 01.2017. Since then, the app and various updates have been implemented.
Requirements for the LOTTO Bayern SÄPP app
With the Lotto Bayern Service App (SÄPP), the lottery offers its customers the ability to prepare their lottery tickets for submission at a LOTTO retail location, among other features. Customers can also import their submitted ticket receipts into the app and check them for winnings at any time. Data Matrix barcodes are used for these functions to encode the selections on the prepared tickets or receipts. Additionally, the SÄPP app offers users the option to store the barcode of their LOTTO customer card (Code 128) directly in the app for identification at the retail outlet.
Opinion on the project
To offer our customers an app for preparing their betting slips and checking the results on their betting receipts, we partnered with mobivention, a skilled and capable developer, to create our service app. We are very satisfied with how the project unfolded and the final result.
