The company Lotto Schleswig-Holstein based in Kiel, is the client of the LOTTA app. The app is used to prepare lottery tickets on a smartphone for submission at a lottery retailer.

Requirements for the Lotto Schleswig-Holstein LOTTA app
With the LOTTA service app, LOTTO Schleswig-Holstein offers its customers the opportunity to prepare their lottery tickets for submission at the LOTTO retail outlet, among other things. In addition, users can import their game receipts into the app and check them for a win at any time. For the latter functions, Data Matrix barcodes are used to encode the tips on the prepared tickets or receipts. As a further feature, the LOTTA app allows users to store the barcode of their LOTTO customer card (code 128) in the app for identification at the retail outlet. Customers will also receive deposit reminders and jackpot alerts if these are activated.
