Requirements for the LOTTO BW Smart Device App
The app is used to prepare lottery tickets at a self-service terminal in the LOTTO retail outlet. The ticket is prepared intuitively and easily at the terminal and placed in a shopping cart. This shopping cart can be printed and the customer receives a barcode for each ticket. The user uses these barcodes to go to the cash desk and pay. This is also where the user receives their receipt for collecting their winnings. The app contributes to the digitalization and substitution of paper with an electronic medium.
The intuitive operation is designed to help lottery players fill in their lottery ticket, avoid mistakes and save time by saving number combinations.
As of 02.2022, around 300 terminals with the solution are in use. In the final stage, more than 3,000 terminals will be installed in LOTTO retail outlets in Baden-Württemberg.
Opinion on the project
We have once again implemented our second app for ticket preparation with our long-standing partner mobivention. With their expertise, they came up with many creative solutions, especially for short-term problems, and once again delivered an excellent app.
